Caramelized carrots are a great addition to your meal. Its quick and easy to make and so yummy! You can pretty much caramelize any veggie. My faves are onions and carrots. Here's an easy way to do this to add to your fish, pork, beef or chicken dish!
- 3 to 4 carrots cut ( I usually cut them julienne style)
- 1 Tbsp. of maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp. of olive oil
In a saucepan, blanch the carrots in salted boiling water for 5 minutes.Drain.
Warm up the oil over medium-high heat. Add the carrots and maple syrup. Season with salt and peper and cook for 3-4 minutes.
